We came here on a Saturday night. It was really busy and we had to wait about 5 minutes for them to set up our table for our 5 person reservation. Other tables got turned away every once in awhile because even the counter was full. The service was really friendly. Devon was great throughout the night though service was spotty at times. It took awhile for the second glass of wine to show up and we ordered dessert to share but the servers forgot the extra spoons so we had to wait to enjoy. The restaurant has gluten free options and were very accommodating which was super awesome. We had the Caprese and Bohemian Potato Pancakes both GF and were delicious. I highly recommend the pancakes that came with salmon and capers. The salad was really big. Portions overall at this restaurant are large. My friends had the Sausage Platter and Clam Chowder. They very much enjoyed them. My husband had the Beef Goulash. I had the Chicken Paprikash served with GF pasta and my son had a GF Salami Pizza. Our bellies were happy. The Goulash and Chicken were delicious with unique flavors. We ended the night with a Bindi Bomba which was a chocolate sphere filled with Spumoni Ice Cream. Yummy!
I really liked the restaurant, from the outside it is simple and usual, but in the inside there is a special atmosphere, live music that visitors are neat and beautiful, the restaurant is clean and the staff is friendly .. there are paintings from a Russian artist on the walls, I was surprised, but what a beer it easy to drink. I add this place to my favorites.
three great things: 1. eat 2. European beer 3. fine weine the personal is friendly and the correct mix of German Italian dressed on the menu. the appetizer of the day was fried mushrooms and flower cabbage. the ordinary thing is that you couldn't say what was until you punctuated it. my friend had the daily special while I had a personal combo pizza. both courts find up. then they have made several houses desserts, where I chose the warm apfelstrudel. all in all, a great place to bring a friend, significant others, or their boss staff. Note that they are here for at least one hour or more. it is not fast eating, but authentic dishes. they do not count calorie.
I have been coming here frequently for a while now. I usually get there sub salad with double bacon, but have been recently getting sandwiches. They put lots of veggies on my sandwiches and they always look fresh! The bread when toasted gets nice and crunchy on the outside and stays soft on the inside. The salads are still my favorite because of how they shred their lettuce, but the sandwiches are also great!
they have some of the best cheeseburgers and pommes that they find every bar in the sacramento opposite. I challenge her to find a better hamburger for under $10. the bar is also quite cool when they are in diving, punk-rock type bars.
